Czym jest moda? (First double language post)

Moda dla mnie jest czymś niesamowicie osobistym. Jest wyrażeniem tego kim jesteśmy, co czujemy i jak chcemy być widziani przez innych. Ma moc sprawiania, że czujemy się lepiej. Daje nam możliwość schowania się  pod warstwami materiałów i ukrycia przed światem. Jest sztuką użyteczną. Bawiącą się kolorami i wzorami. Eksperymentując z fakturą i kształtem. Zmieniając rozmiary i igrając z konstrukcją. Moda jest tym, czym chcemy żeby była. Czego potrzebujemy.

I think that fashion is a very personal thing. It is the expression of who we are, what we feel  and how we want to be seen. It has the power to make us feel better. It gives you an opportunity to hide  under layers of fabirc. Fashion is a form of a usable art. It plays with colors. Has fun with textures. Experiments with construction and size. Fashion is whatever you want it to be. Whatever you need

Background:

She was raised in the small town of Gunnedah to John and Therese Kerr. 

Kerr's paternal grandmother lived on a farm, where she "raced motorbikes and rode horses."

Origin: 

Australia Gunnedah, New South Wales

Beginnings: 

At age 13, Miranda won the 1997 annual Dolly Magazine/Impulse Model Competition.

In early 2004 she signed with NEXT Model Management.

It all lead to her being first Australian to participate in the Victoria's Secret campaign
(offered a contract with in 2007).

Nowadays: 

In October 2009, Kerr launched her own brand of organic skincare products, Kora Organics, with George Moskos.

She was ranked 2nd in Forbes 2013 list of the world's highest-paid models, with estimated earnings of $7.2 million.
